As a baseball organization we realize that all players and parents want their son to play games and be a part of a team. The ultimate goal at EPA Baseball is to help each player improve in every facet of the game. The development process is different for every player based on their skill set.
The purpose of the program is to provide and opportunity for all players to become better players through quality instruction. Each player that joins this fall will become part of EPA Baseball. They will receive a hat and jersey. This is not a camp. The program will operate as a team based on the age group.
Why was this program developed? So many players are denied an opportunity to improve because they were not selected to play on a team. The issue here is that a lot of players simply do not get selected because maybe they had a bad tryout and they are solid ball players. The fall season program allows our coaches to work with the players and get to know them. The program also allows the players to work on their individual plan to become better ball players. We also have the ability to move players to tournament teams if we have open roster spots during the fall. (Similar to minor league ball players moving to the big leagues). We want players to know that hard work pays off and their improvement will be noticed.
The program will be age specific and limited to 10-12 players per group. For example we will have 4 team groups (7u/8u, 9u/10u, 11u/12u, 13u/14u)
